Loree Erikson & Hadley Howes

GLITTER BATH   Runtime 3:00

Swirling glitter, blue water, and intimate collaboration, glitter bath!  invites you to reframe sites of shame as shimmering portals of resistance.  Rooted in disability Justice, queercrip aesthetics, and abolitionist practice through collective care, the film plays with the neoliberal fantasy of self-care insisting instead on community, relationality, and shared sparkle.  Pushing back against structural forces that cast care as burden, in glitter bath! care and pleasure intertwine as political force.  Basking in queercrip flourishing offers a vibrant, glistening vision of femmegimp joy which insists on the inherent worth, magnificence and brilliance of queercrip lives as a blueprint for dreaming otherwise.

Wiley Wolf & Raven Gray

YOURS   Runtime 4:15

Snatched from the safety of her bed, a girl in a gas mask wakes up locked in a cage in an unfamiliar place, entirely at the mercy of a rubber-clad captor. Through intimidation, fire, and powerful dominance, her tormentor chips away at her resolve. Yet as the line between terror and desire begins to blur, her captor prepares to reveal their true intentions... leaving her to face a truth far darker (or more delicious?) than her captivity.

Violet Mays

HONEY BEAR   Runtime 5:39

What we get up to behind closed doors! “Honey Bear” (2020) shows a sissy transformation across a split screen; one side shows the client in a slow strip tease post-transformation, while the other shows AMAB genitals being stapled into a pussy for Mistress’ pleasure.

Artist bio

Violet Mays is a Toronto-based proDomme interested in BDSM as an aesthetic practice. Driven by a sustained interest in medical fetish, blood play, and performance, she loves thinking about the endlessness of the body’s surfaces as a way to induce maximum pleasure. She has been combining gender play with medical fetishism for over a decade.

Artist Statement - A note on "sissies"

As a professional Dominant, I've been performing sissification scenes for almost two decades. I have been seeing Honey bear specifically for the past ten years. Ours is a relationship that I hold dear, and it's also how I get paid. There’s intimacy, care, hotness, and an increasing level of trust each time we play which allows us to travel deeper into their kinks over time. When I'm with Honey bear, putting on makeup, choosing an outfit, brushing out a wig, and donning femme accoutrements become magical aides to a slutty and ephemeral transformation.

Sissies and sissy play are undeniably controversial. The trans community points out that "Sissies" turn feminization into a sexual fetish while directly, or indirectly, supporting biases and laws that make trans people's lives more unsafe. Sissification play is a way for cis men to mimic femininity and is often combined with humiliation play, where they might be objectified, or made to play out a forced-femme scene (treated “like a slut” and degraded), yet these men return to the safety of male privilege once the scene ends.

There is considerably more to say on the matter, such as transphobes who reduce all trans women to the sissy-as-sexual fetish trope, or how trans, and femme-leaning queers, were bullied by being called “sissies” in their childhood. The conversation is more nuanced and layered than could ever be conveyed in a short note, and still, it would be neglectful of me not to try and situate my work.

In the book Sissy Insurgencies: A Racial Anatomy of Unfit Manliness, the author traces how sissy is not simply a derogatory slur and could even be a potential site of rebellion against white supremacist patriarchal gender norms. When decoupled from homosexuality, sissy can present an alternate masculinity. Examples such as George Washington Carver, James Baldwin, and Little Richard (among others), serve as proof towards this assertion. If calling someone a sissy is an attempt to police masculinity, reclaiming and expressing sissy can be treasonous.

Sissy play can be problematic. I also see how my clients yearn to be in this space, just as they do for any other fetish. Sissy play can act as catharsis; wherein someone can explore their sexuality more fully than say growing up in a Polish Catholic community could allow. I get to witness the beauty and magic they experience while inhabiting a feminine persona. It's my hope that this video work translates some of that radiance across the screen.

Bruce LaBruce

feat. The Scandelles

GIVE PIECE OF ASS A CHANCE     Runtime: 15:00

Give Piece of Ass a Chance is the third in a series of porn produced by The Scandelles starring their alter egos, The Partistes. It shows the inception of these characters as a group of anti-war sex terrorists who kidnap a munitions heiress and fuckwash her using her family's deadly legacy. GPAC pokes loving fun at the misguided but consequential anti-war, anti-bourgeois and feminist groups of the early '70s and '90s and the media's natural obsession with their innate sexiness. The Scandelles set out to make porn based on genre and this one pays tribute to the political stylings of Bruce LaBruce, directed by the man himself.
